Review: Finding Home

I read a lot, so given the opportunity to read and review a book was not something I had to think twice Finding Homeabout. The book, Finding Home a Parable of Kingdom Life by Brad Huebert is an unusual book.

It is a story of a man who is fed up with his nominal christian life and decides to do something about it.  The story takes him through different areas of his growth in such a way that we can all get a glimpse of ourselves somewhere during the journey. There will be a lot to contemplate as you read.

“He managed a breathless nod just before an unpredictable joy split the threadbare seams of his heart, tumbling out of his mouth as childlike laughter.”  This quote made me think of Luke 5:37 “and no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled…”

I enjoyed Finding Home. It  is an easy book to read and it will hold your attention. I would readily recommend it.
