CHRISTMAS ROSE

giftTricia Goyer wrote a very heartwarming account of love, acceptance and hope in A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR ROSE. It is a story Rose Yoder, her Amish family and the young man she loves, Jonathan Fisher.

Rose is angry at Jonathan because he joined the Army to be a medic during World War II. She feels he left the Amish community and is afraid he will be drawn to the Englisch life and eventually leave. She is fearful of what the future holds for her and often bewildered by her mother’s actions.

I don’t like to give too much away when I write a review so I won’t go into anymore of the details. Suffice it to say it is a very good story of family and relationships that will touch the heart of many. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and have found a new favorite author in Tricia Goyer.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson for a fair and honest review.
