NEVERNEVER A BRIDESMAID by Janice Thompson is a Novella, which means it’s a short taste of something more.

This is a story of sisters who has the standard sibling competition without really knowing the other’s real hopes and fears. Crystal is the sister getting married and is being railroaded into a wedding she doesn’t want by her future mother-in-law. Mari is the sister passed over for the Maid of Honor position because the mother-in-law pushes Sienna into the position. When Sienna falls down on the job, Mari takes the reins and saves the day.

Phillip is the bridegroom from a different class that Crystal’s middle class family. Derrick, the best man, is a handsome baseball star, who the maid of honor and bridesmaids are all atwitter over. Mari sees more in Derrick then the baseball star and a friendship blooms.

I enjoyed this cute predictable story and think it’s well worth reading.
I received this book free from Zondervan via Thomas Nelson Publishers for an honest review.
