SIMPLEA SIMPLE PRAYER, by Amy Clipston is a entertaining Amish story of two who have been wounded and are afraid to trust.

Aaron Ebersol left the Amish community as a teen but returns when he’s told of his mother’s health problems. Will his family accept him back?

Linda Zook, is the sole survivor of a buggy accident that claimed the lives of her parents. Her mother’s brother and his wife took her in but she’s never felt accepted.

What does the future hold for these two, can they find their way to each other and into the community? Can each of them find forgiveness and extend forgiveness to those they feel have wronged them.

Having read several Amish books lately by a variety of authors, I found this one compelling, but quite a bit different take of the Amish community. I do know there is a wide range of beliefs, or I should say adherence in the districts. I just may have to read more of Amy’s books as this was enjoyable.

I received A Simple Prayer free from Thomas Nelson and Zondervan Publishers for an honest review.
