backRuth Logan Herne’s BACK in the SADDLE, although somewhat formulaic, was well written and worth reading. It is often sad but true that there is a disconnect between parents and children. However it exits, from misunderstandings, lack of communications or other underlying concerns, it frequently is never corrected.

Colt Stafford, the oldest of three sons, left the ranch planning on never to return. Due to a Wall Street upset he comes home to regroup. His younger brother, Nick, Is not thrilled as he’s been there for their dad, Sam.

Upon Colt’s arrival he finds out his dad is a changed man due to the housekeeper, Angelina Morales. Angelina is an enigma with secrets and a force to be reckoned with.
Sparks fly between Colt and Angelina but will they be able to overcome their differences?

Can Colt and Sam work through their differences enough to accept each other? Will he stay or return to Wall Street? Will Angelina be content on the farm or will Seattle draw her back?
I received this book free for an honest review from Multnomah Books via Water Brook Publishing.
