Ruth Reid has written a very compelling account of a kidnapping gone awry and the subsequent aftermath in ABIDING MERCY.

Fifteen years ago Roslyn Colepepper was knocked unconscious and her 18 month baby girl , Adriana, was kidnapped. Believing the child had been in a car that went into the river the police closed the case.

Raised as Amish, Faith Pinkham after thinking they had been spotted the kidnappers gave her to an Amish couple and fled.

Never believing her daughter is dead, Roslyn continues to hope and with new technology convinces the police to reopen the investigation.

Will the new investigation find Adriana? If so will she willingly reenter the Englisch world and forsake her Amish belief’s?

I received a free copy from Thomas Nelson Publishing Group. No review, positive or otherwise, was required – all opinions are my own.
