Denise Hunter is one of my favorite authors. In blue ridge sunrise she weaves a intriguing story of second chances at first love, forgiveness and God’s mercy.

Zoe Collins and Cruz Huntley grew up together. Cruz was her brother’s best friend and from the wrong side of the tracks according to her dad. They sneak around to see each other and when they are found out there are misunderstandings and lies that aid in their decisions.

Five years later Zoe grandma dies and she inherits her peach orchard. Torn with what to do and regretting the direction of her life, what will she decide?  Can she and Cruz work through the mistrust, and repercussions of the last five years?

I received a free copy from Thomas Nelson Publishing Group. No review, positive or otherwise, was required – all opinions are my own.
